William, son of Samuel and Hester was baptised at Turkdean, Gloucestershire, England on 22 June 1716. ^[1]

He died in 1727 in Turkdean, Gloucestershire. ^[2]

The William Dancey born about 1715/1716 in Turkdean Glos England was son of Samuel Dancey and Hester Stephenson Crew m Dancey. There is a Glos baptism record. A William Dancey, son of Samuel Dancey was buried Turkdean Glos Eng in 1727. There is a burial record supporting this. So the William b Turkdean is probably not the William who married Mary Mason and died in Charles City County, VA. (William was born about 1715. He passed away in 1772.)
