Biography

John Pearce Davey, son of Richard Davey and Luelya Pearce, was born on 05 February 1854 in Canada West. ^[1]

The 1861 Census and the 1871 Census have him living with his parents and siblings in Kincardine, Bruce, Ontario, Canada. ^{[2] [3]}

John married Agnes McNee in about 1878. ^[4] The 1881 Census has John and Agnes living in West Wawanosh, Huron, Ontario, Canada. They have one child - Susan Davy born in 1879. ^[5]

In 1882 John and his brother Richard moved west with their families relocating in Spokane, Washington. ^[6]

John passed away on 28 Apr 1931 in Freeman, Spokane, and was laid to rest on 2 May 1931 in Fairview Cemetery, Rockford, Spokane. . ^[6]
