I agree with your logic regarding a son's name. Please see Davey-520 for who I believe is that son. As the DOB is the same for both Davey-1051 and Davey-519 an father/son relationship between the two is impossible.

Davey-1051 and Davey-519 appear to represent the same person because: Ashburn Davey appears to be a pseudonym for the Davey/Ashbourne marrage. Wlliam Gabrel Davey is the correct name of Ashburne's husband.

Davey-1051 and Davey-519 do not represent the same person because: William Gabriel Davey's wife was an Ashbourne. It's likely that a son would be named for the mother's family. It seems that there are some incorrect dates for Ashburn Davey/
