Mary Davidson married William Pirie in 1877 in Gamrie. [1]
In the 1911 Scotland census William Pirie, 77 born in Strichen, farmer, was head of his household in Castle of Auchry, Monquhitter, Aberdeen. Other Household members were his wife Mary Davidson, 64 born New Deer, and their children: Ann Elizabeth Pirie 26 and John Alex Davidson Pirie 25, farmer, both born in Crimond. Their servants were: George Mathers 27 horseman, William Alex Andrew 27 horseman, William Stephen 17 horseman, Nathaniel Keith Gordon 16 horseman, Robert William Adam 17 cattleman, Annie Smith Cruikshank 22 kitchenmaid, and Mary Bella Barclay 19 housemaid, all from various in Aberdeenshire.
