Barney Eli Davidson was born in 1877 in Swift, Hardin, Tennessee, United States, son of Hannah Elizabeth Davidson (about 1854–about 1900).

Barney (21) and Nora Isbella Garner (17) were married in 1900. Belle was born on 12 Oct 1882 in Hardin County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of William Columbus (Gardner) Garner and Mrs. Victoria Tennessee (Coatney) Garner.

In 1920, Barney E (41) was living in Civil District 1, Hardin, Tennessee.

Barney died in 1936 in Memphis, Shelby, Tennessee, aged 57. He was buried in Goshen Cemetery, Swift, Hardin County, Tennessee.

• This is my grandfather. my grandfather was hit by a hit and run driver. He was rushed to a hospital in Memphis, TN. he was only 56 years old.
