Biography
- Mary Jane Davis was the daughter of Jonathan Davice and Nancy Spicer. According to her Find A Grave page, Mary Jane Davis first married Harvey Landon (1824-1880) in 1850. They had at least three children:
- Oren Morrison Landon, 1854-1942
- Judd E Landon, 1860-1938
- Wortthy Clare Landon 1872-1882[1]
- Harvey Landon died in 1880. The following year, Mary Landon married Leonard W. Pike, who was also widowed. They remained married until Leonard's death in 1897. After Mary's death in 1913 she was buried with her first husband, Harvey Landon, in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, in Lime Springs, Iowa.[2][3]
