In the 5 Apr 1891 Census, Catherine was a Nurse at Gravesend Hospital, Bath Street, Gravesend, England. Her sister Elizabeth Dawbney was a Head nurse at the same hospital. This was probably how she met her husband William Wood as he was also living near Gravesend, Kent at the same time. ^[2]
