Biography
Milfred Joseph Dawson was born on September 11, 1897 in Sandwich South Township, Essex, Ontario, Canada, son of Alex Dawson (~1872–1951) and Josephine Higgins (1873–1947).[1]
In 1901, Milfred (3) was in the household of Chles Dawson in Essex (north/nord), Ontario. [2]
Milfred died on November 10, 1977, aged 80. He was buried in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Maidstone, Ontario.

DAWSON — Milford (Dyke) 80 yrs. Nov. 10, 1977 late residence RR1, Maidstone. Beloved husband of Diane. Dear father of Robert, Toronto: John, Windsor; William, Woodslee; George, Essex. 10 grandchildren. Brother of Mary Dawson, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Stewart L. Kennedy Funeral Home, 128 Talbot St. N. Essex. Funeral service Sat. at 10:30 a.m. to St. Mary's Church, Maidstone at 11 a.m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Prayers Fri. at 8:30 p.m.
