Rachel Ann Day, daughter of Mary Eliza Wroten and Henry Day, married ca 1848 to John G. Gallaspy, son of James Gallaspy and Elizabeth Guin. He was born 1818 in Madison County, Kentucky, and died of rheumatism in October1880, Newton County, Mississippi, according to the U.S. Federal Census Mortality Schedule for 1880.[3]
