Linda (Noland) Layman
I have a book which list the parents as Abraham and Margaret, but does not give dates of birth. It is stated she was the daughter of Jacobus Van Cortlandt and Eva De Vries Phillipse. Also included is a photograph of a painting of Catherine and her twin Eva, who died one month after the portrait was painted in 1729. Noland 588.

I have seen Catherine's death date as 1804 in several genealogies--what is your first hand knowledge? The same data bases list her parents as Margaret van Cortlandt and Abraham de Peyster--one source has Margaret's dob 1694 and Abraham's dates as 1690-1767
