Kenneth was born in 1945. He passed away in 2010.
1945-2010 HINSDALE Kenneth Wallace Demary, 64, of 21 Walsh Road, Hinsdale, died Thursday, Feb. 25, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield, March 9, 1945, son of the late Francis F. Demary Sr. and Gladys Boyd Demary, he was a graduate of the former Dalton High School.
A Viet Nam War veteran, he served with the Army from 1962 to 1965 and was stationed in Korea.
Mr. Demary was employed by General Electric Company in the Ordnance Systems Division where he worked with transformers for 27 years, retiring in 2000.
He was sports fan, especially passionate about the Boston Red Sox.
Mr. Demary leaves a brother, Francis F. Demary Jr. and his wife, Addella, of Pittsfield; four sisters, Barbara Burdick and her husband, Robert, of Coxsackie, N.Y. Betsy Jenkins and her husband, J.R., of Santa Marie, Calif., Nancy Walker and her husband, Samuel, of Camarillo, Calif., and Wanda Sayers and her husband, Harry, of Hinsdale; as well as his uncle, Marshall Demary of Pittsfield, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, James W. Demary, who died in 2006.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service will be held in Maple Street Cemetery, in Hinsdale, in the Spring. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Demary may be made to HospiceCare in The Berkshires in care of the DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 East Main Street, Dalton.
