Biography
William Dennis was born about 1812 and baptised on 1st November 1812 in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, England. [1]
William was a Framework Knitter and lived in Union Street, Sutton in Ashfield. A Framework was a mechanical knitting machine used in the textile industry and this was usually done in the knitters home. (see John Dennis born 1846 for further information).
