Witnesses, Adam Brabazon, John de Brynchesle, John Botiller, Robert de Ivyngho, William de Dreytone, John Clerk, and others [not named]. Dated Tuesday after the Feast of St. Michael [29 Sept.], 25 Edward III. [A.D. 1351]."[4]
1357: "Lease by Geoffrey Denneye, fishmonger, and Cecilia his wife to John Lightfot, cornmonger, and Alice his wife of a shop in Bredstret, situate near the tenement of Thomas de Brusyngham and the tenement of the Hospital of St. James near Westminster, for a term of fifteen years. Witnesses, Adam Brabazoun, John de Brencheslee, John Boteler, Robert Ivyngho, William de Draytone, John Clerk, and others [not named]. Dated the Feast of St. Michael [29 Sept.], 31 Edward III. [A.D. 1357]."[5]
19 Mar 1366/1367: "A sum of money delivered by John de Cantebrigge, the Chamberlain, in the presence of John Lovekyn, the Mayor, Adam Fraunceys, William Haldene, John Pecche, Simon de Mordone, and John Lytle, Aldermen, to Andrew Pykeman, fishmonger, in trust for Alice, daughter of Robert Fourneux, late fishmonger Sureties, viz., Geoffrey Denny, fishmonger, and Simon Levelif, "brewere."[6]

Geoffrey Denny's will was dated 19 Jul 1375 and proved 24 Jul 1375. He named his son Robert, his daughter Eleanor and his (second) wife Joan. He directed that his burial was to be in the churchyard of St. Margaret's (possibly St Margaret's Fish Hill Street, near London Bridge).[2]
