Born to Armenian immigrants Serop and Rose Derderian in 1910 in the city of Haverhill. She married Peter Matorian in 1952. In her older years, she dedicated her life to caring for children. She enjoyed various soap operas and making Greek/Arabic dishes such as grape leaves for visitors.
