Biography
Mary Diaman/Dimond/Dimon was born in Massachusetts in 1756. [citation needed]
William Gray married Mary (Polly) Diaman "Diman" in Danvers, Massachusetts on July 26, 1785. [1]
They migrated to Ohio where they were among the earliest settlers of the region. Capt. William Gray was commander of the garrison at Fort Frye in Ohio. "Capt. William Gray, wife and two children." [2]
Her husband died in 1812. In 1820 she was head of household in Waterford, Ohio. [3]
She died Jan 5, 1833 and is buried in Waterford, Ohio. [4]
