Biography
Moritz Diamond migrated from Austro-Hungarian Empire to United States.
Moritz was born in 1857 in what is now Slovakia but at the time was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. He was the son of Nathan Diamant and his wife Resi.
He married in Slovakia on 4 December 1885, to Mary Fried, daughter of Leopold and Hani Fried.[1] They had 2 sons:
- Eugene Diamond 1891– m. Tessie Weinberger, 4 sons
- Shea Diamond 1906–1997 m. Nettye Weinberg
Around 1913 the family emigrated to the United States, settling in Atlanta, Georgia.[2]
