Biography

Clifford was born in 1882. The baptismal record for this infant is inaccurate, insofar as it shows middle name as "Richard". His Birth was registered with the GRO, and the Index clearly shows his middle name as "Richards" which was his mother's Maiden Name. He was the son of Joseph Dibble and Elizabeth Richards.

He was a farmer by occupation. He married (1909) May Gertrude Hilda Phillips. Four children resulted : Wilfred Charles Dibble (1910), Dorothy Hilda Dibble (1912), Dora Mary Dibble (1915) and Lilian May Dibble (1920). He passed away in 1959.
