Leona Thelma Dibblee was born on March 1, 1920, in Kings, New Brunswick, Canada, her father, Reginald Dibblee, was 32, and her mother, Lettie Fowler, was 28. She married Trueman Bishop Teakles on July 9, 1938, in her hometown.[1] They had six children in 10 years. She died on October 30, 2003, in Grand Bay, New Brunswick, Canada, at the age of 83, and was buried in Kings, New Brunswick, Canada.
The death of Leona Thelma Teakles, age 83, of Grand Bay, occurred at her residence, on Thursday, October 30, 2003. She was the wife of the late Trueman Teakles of Norton, NB. Leona is survived by sons; Carman and Susan, Salt Springs, Donald and Donna, Gagetown, and Lloyd & Virginia, Saint John, daughters; Emma and Howard Hutchinson, Hampton, Harriet and Donald Hutchinson, Grand Bay, and Helen Connell and Joe Young, Grand Bay, 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson, brother; Donald and Eileen Dibblee, Sarnia, ON, five nieces and three nephews. She was predeceased by her son Frankie and granddaughter Bonita Lynn.
