In the 1871 census Thomas (age 12) was the son of Margaret Dill in Brighton, Sussex, England.^[1]

Thomas attended Oxford University Christ Church arm on the 15 October 1877 aged 18 until 1882 and matriculated with a B.A. in 1881; and Barrister at Law, Inner Temple on the 26 Jan 1885. Barrister Thomas Reginald Colquhourn Dill Attorney at Lawwas registered to vote in 1904 at 26 Drayton gardens, Finsbury, Holborn, Islington, England. Thomas was issued a certificate.^[2]

Before he died in 1934 Thomas took a couple of cruises. His first cruise was to Gibraltar aboard the 'Rajputana' departing 1 April 1926. Thomas Dill departed on 1 April 1926^[4]

Second cruise he returned from Coronel, Chile. arriving back into London on 24 April 1927 on the Steamship the Oroya. They had visited the Ports of La Libertad; Paita; Cristobal; Coruna; Mollendo; Iquique; Callao; Valparaiso; Mollendo; Antofagasta; La Pallice; Santander; Havana; and Vigo^[5]His residence stated in the manifest was 1 x Trevor Square, London. It appeared he was travelling alone. He was 68 years of age.

Thomas died November 6, 1934 in Islington, London, England, United Kingdom, aged 74.^[6] Thomas died on 6 November 1934 at 1 Trevor Square, Knightsbridge in Middlesex, England and his estate passed probate on 17 December 1934 in London, England. His wife Julie Emma Francis Dill was executor and his sizeable estate was valued at 10,530 pounds, 5s and 2d. Resworn at 11,023, 4s and 5d. ^[7]
