Jack was raised by his maternal grandparents, Chris and Dorothy, as their youngest son. Jack is actually a son of Magdalena, Chris and Dorothy's oldest daughter, but was raised as her brother by Chris and Dorothy. According to family information, the father was a distant cousin of Lena's and also a Dockter.

Jack is a Veteran of the US Army 1928-1957

BURIAL: Jack is buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Catholic Section, Walla Walla, Washington next to his second wife, Blanche.
