Note NI1252Samuel Dodson, son of Francis (deceased) and Alice A. Dodson, died at
the family home, 352 Benton avenue, South Lakemont, at 6 o'clock
yesterday morning of paralysis. He suffered a stroke of paralysis
twelve years ago and left him in a weakened physical condition. Early
yesterday morning he suffered another stroke which resulted in his
death. He was born in Clearfield county July 22, 1882. Besides his
mother, he is survived by two brothers, James, of Barnesboro, and J.
H., of Altoona, and one sister, Mrs. Nettie Daughenbaugh, of South
Lakemont. He was a member of the Church of God, of Barnesboro. The
body will be taken to Barnesboro today and funeral services will be
held at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning, with burial in the East Ridge
cemetery at that place.
