Mrs. V. M. Nichols, well known resident of Sycamore for over 15 years, died at her home on East State street, Sunday morning after six years of illness, five of which she spent in bed. Her death came as a relief from much suffering.

She attended school and grew to womanhood in that country and after removing to Mayfield township she was married to V. W. Nichols in 1900. They moved to their home on East State street in 1914 and have since resided there.
Besides her husband she is survived by her brother, F. H. Dobson of Harvard and H. S. Snow of Waukesha, Wis.
