Biography

Elizabeth Donahoe was born in North Litchfield in 1867. She married Cyer Morris November 23, 1896 and they had two sons Leslie Morris and Leo Morris.^[1] She died December 8, 1949 and was buried in the Cedarville Cemetery, Herkimer, New York.

Obituary: Utica Daily Press, Friday, December 9, 1949. Mrs. Elizabeth Morris. Cedarville -- Mrs. Cyer Morris, 82. died in her home here Dec. 8, 1949. Elizabeth Donahoe was born in North Litchfield Mars. 2, 1867, daughter of Dennis and Julia Comfort Donahoe. She attended the school here and on Nov. 23, 1896 she was married in West Winfield. Mr. Morris died June 6, 1938. She leaves two sons, Leslie and Leo, Cedarville; a step-daughter, Mrs. maude Garnsey, Utica; a brother, James, Litchfield; three granchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted in the home of her son, Leslie. Burial will be in Cedarville Cemetery.
