Biography
APRIL 2 1810 • Wheeling West Virginia DEATH OCT 22, 1888 • Churubusco,Allen,Indiana,USA. Grave #44368474 Elizabeth Donaldson McCurdy moved from West Virginia to Ohio in 1823, with her parents and siblings. The Donaldson stayed in Ohio and Elizabeth met and married Samuel McCurdy August 14, 1828. They then migrated to Allen County, Indiana, purchasing a large piece of land. They cleared this wild land to farm until Samuel McCurdy was taken ill. Before Samuel died in 1877, he and Elizabeth moved to live with Andrew McCurdy, their son in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Samuel passed on January 17, 1977. Elizabeth continue to live with her son and family. She died October 22, 1888.
