Biography

Matilda (Dorling) Perriam was born in the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)

Matilda was the daughter of William Dorling and Caroline Smith. She was born on 11th February 1852 at York (now Beverley), South Australia.^[1]

On 29th December 1875 Matilda married William Perriam in her family home at Brompton. It was the first marriage for both.^[2]

Matilda passed away on 9th March 1941 at Hindmarsh, aged 89 years.^[3] She was interred in the Hindmarsh Cemetery, plot Lower B40, with William.^[4]
