Robert Vernon Dorsey was born on 25 Jul 1917 in Ponder, Denton, Texas to parents William Munsey Dorsey and Lucy Ann Dixon. He married firstly Elizabeth Luany Jackman on 27 Nov 1938 in Sicorro, New Mexico. Children: Elizabeth Ann Dorsey, Robert Vernon Jr. He married secondly Vera Louise Graves on 26 Jan 1963 in Harris, Texas. He married thirdly Billie Bob Steward on 19 Jan 1973 in Montgomery, Texas. He married fourthly ___ on 17 Aug 1978 in Montgomery, Texas. He married fifthly Dorothy K Baldwin on 2 Dec 1979 in Plainfield, Hendricks, Indiana. He married sixthly Mary Evelyn McCracken on 1 Jun 1986 in Boiling Springs, Cleveland, North Carolina. He died on 6 Nov 2004 in Powder Springs, Cobb, Georgia. He was cremated and the location of ashes is unknown. Cremation 7 Nov 2004 by Professional Cremation, Austell, Cobb, Georgia.
