William Pinkney "Will" Draper was born on 13 June 1873, in Freestone, Texas, United States.[1] His father, James Granville Draper, was 26 and his mother, Mary B Nancy Young, was 21.

William was married 3 times. He married Anna Isabell Shanks on 23 August 1892, in Freestone, Texas, United States.[2] They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 4 daughters.
On May 17, 1928 he married Margaret H Miller Capps. the former wife of George W. Capps. That union took place in Smith County, Texas.
About 1950, William married Bertha Tarvin, the former wife of Isaac Newton Millican. Her marriage with Newton produced 10 children! She and William had no children.
He lived in Bentley Township, Atoka, Oklahoma, United States in 1920 and Atoka, Atoka, Oklahoma, United States in 1950.
He died on 23 December 1957, in Atoka, Oklahoma, United States, at the age of 84, and was buried in Butler Cemetery, Farris, Atoka, Oklahoma, United States.
