Bernie Driver was born in Smithville, Tennessee[1] on the 2nd of March, 1918[2][1] to Wheeler Driver[2] and Mary Young[2] of the Keltonburg Community[2]. The siblings would be:
In October of 1945 his home would be at Rt. #6, Smithville, Tennessee[1] and he would normally be working for a farmer[1].
Military
He would join in the WWII efforts and be inducted on the 4th of November, 1942[2] at Camp Forrest, Tennessee[2], He would reach the rank of PFC before seperating on the 12th of October 1945[1]. During his time he can been under I4 Chemical Company[1]
He would be with the 14th Chemical Company[2] and would be in the European Theatre from 3 December, 1943 to 7 July 1945.
He would rtake part in Campaigns in the Normandy, Northern France, The Ardennes, the Rhineland, and Central Europe[2] and recieve the EAMET Ribbon Meritorious Service Unit Plaque.[2]
Death
He died on the 5th of June, 1975 and he would be buried in the Whorton Springs Cemetery in Smithville, DeKalb County, Tennessee[5]
