Son of Gerbrand Dros and Jannetje Dogger.
There are two Simon Droses born in Texel within a couple years of each other (1845 & 1847); no parents are listed for either. However, [1] states Simon was 25 at time of marriage in 1873, so he must be the one born in 1847.
