William was born in 1844. He married Margaret Wightman in 1867.[1] 1881 Census: His family was living at Wolfstar Farm in the civil parish and registration district of Pencaitland. It is actually closer to Ormiston (map↗️).[2][3] Alice Wightman, niece of Margaret Drummond, was living with them as her mother (Margaret Wightman nee Fowler) was ill. William died in 1912. He was buried at Dirleton Kirk, Dirleton.[4]
