Biography

Enlisted in Co. A, 187th New York Infantry on October 10th 1864. Wounded on October 27th 1864 at Hatcher's Run, Va. and died in hospital.

Friedrich Duttweiler died on November 5, 1864. He was buried in Arlington National Cemetery on November 7 and his body was exhumed on November 8th. Information was found on ancestry.com.

Friedrich Duttweiler was single at the time of his death in November 1864. Therefore, he could not have been married to Sarah A. Hensel born 1874 as indicated in this current profile.
