Ephraim Sears Easterday: according to his death certificate his birthdate was 14 Oct 1854. According to the 1870 census for Erie, Miami, Indiana Lavina was 16, Ephraim was 14, and Henry was 11. This puts Lavina's birthdate in about 1864, Ephraim in about 1856, and Henry in about 1859. In the 1900 Wolcott, White, IN census Ephraim again lists his birth as Oct 1854, further complicating the situation. I believe that the 1856 day is probably correct
