John Elkington was born in Lincolnshire, England.
John was baptised in 1720/21 in Ruskington, Lincolnshire, England. He was the son of Richard and Priscilla Elkington.[1]

In 1744/45 John married Elizabeth Lindsey in Welbourn, Lincolnshire.[2] Their children were:
