Elmira married William J. Honea on September 21, 1848 in Cherokee County, Georgia. [2] Her son William was born in 1849. [1]
In 1851, her son Stephen was born, son James in 1854, son Ezra Andrew in 1856, and son Francis Marion in 1859. Her first son William has passed away sometime before 1860, because he does not appear in the census. The family also moved to Alabama during this time, living in Blount County. [3]
The family moved again, and in 1870, she lived in Morgan County, Alabama near the Decatur post office. [4]
Her husband passed away around 1875. In 1880, she was a widower and lived in Cullman County, Alabama. Her son Francis and his wife live with her in the home. [5]
