April 13 & November 24, 1773 -- date of Lieutenant Jeremiah Ellsworth's will. His will mentioned his wife Hannah, son Thomas, son Jeremiah, son Nathaniel to have the dwelling house, grandchildren by his deceased son Jonathan, daughter Sarah [Ellsworth] Hidden, and grandson Jeremiah Hidden. His sons Thomas and Nathaniel were appointed executors. Administration with the will annexed was granted to grandsons Edward Ellsworth of Littleton and David Ellsworth of Rowley because both of the original executors were dead.
