Biography

Perley Munroe Emery was born on April 14, 1888, in Palmer, Hampden County, Massachusetts,[1] the son of B. Frank and Sarah Emery.[2]

Perley M Emery and Addie E Hopkins were married on September 29, 1936 in Maine.[3]

He died on May 13, 1977, in Portland, Cumberland County, Maine.[4]

John Emery
Perley owned a General Store in Kennebunk Maine but it went under, he then was employed as meat cutter at the original SHAW'S on Congress Street in Portland Maine . As a child my Mom would take me to see him at the Trelawny Building, he operated the elevator after he retired.
