Biography

George Ence was born on February 12, 1877 in Richfield, Sevier, Utah Territory, United States. His parents were Gottlieb Ence from Switzerland and Elizabeth James from England.

He married Mary Alillia Jensen on November 1, 1898 in Richfield.^[1][2][3]

The census records show that in 1900, 1910, and 1920 he lived in Richfield with his wife and children; In 1930 he lived in Four Mile, Moffat county, Colorado. The 1918 draft indicates that they lived in Parowan, Iron county, Utah.

George passed away at an age of 56 on July 27, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is buried in the Richfield City Cemetery.^[4][5][6][7]
