Hubert was born Jun 16, 1916 in Tishomingo, Tishomingo County, Mississippi, United States. He was the son of Virgil L. Epps and Estell Fredrick. He passed away September 4, 2001 in Hayden, Routt County, Colorado, United States.
Hubert was buried in September, 2001 at the Hayden Cemetery in Hayden, Routt County, Colorado, United States.
He grew up in Plant City, Fla. Bill entered the U.S. Air Force and on Dec. 21, 1948, he married Daisy J. Temple at Eielson Air Force Base in Fairbanks, Alaska. They lived in various places during his 28.5 years of service. He retired from the Air Force in 1969. Since retiring they lived in Craig and since 1977, in Hayden.
Bill enjoyed woodworking, refinishing furniture, fishing, reading, photography and going south for the winter months. He was also a rockhound.
He is survived by his wife, Daisy Epps of Hayden; a daughter, Marsha Fisher and husband Marlin of Marshall, Texas; three grandchildren, Jennifer and Keith Marshall, both students at Texas A&M in College Station, Texas and Emily Fisher of Marshall, Texas; a sister, Verlie Brune of Wakeman, Ohio; a brother, Grant Epps of Plant City, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Herman and a sister, Betty.
