Biography

Anna Brita Eriksson was born on April 18, 1804 in Husby Oppunda parish in Södermanland, Sweden.

She came to Livgardet till häst (also called Livdragonregementet, Livhusarregementet, Lätta dragonkåren, Lätta livdragonregementet) in Stockholm from Norrköping in 1827.

She married Johan Olof Mellin on June 17, 1827. They had children Anna Charlotta b. 1828, Ludvig Victor Willehad b. 1830, Johan Fredrik Leonard b. 1833 and Carl Olof Wilhelm b. 1836.

The family is listed as No 46 under Fjärde skvadron, Baron Stedinks. According to daughter Anna Charlotta's birth record they lived in Kvaretet Lindormhuset, Nedre Grevgatan in Stockholm.

The family moved to Hedvid Eleonora parish within Stockholm on Octber 23, 1836, and Johan Olof became a baker (sv. bagarmästare).[1]

  • There was no Anna Britta Eriksdotter born on that date in Husby Oppunda. There was a Anna Eriksdotter born on 22 Apr 1804.[2]
