Private Daniel (Ericsson) Fredeen served in the United States Civil War.

Daniel (Ericsson) Fredeen lived in Sweden

Daniel was born on 1 March 1823.[1][2][3][4] He was the son of Eric Pålsson and Greta Danielsdotter.[5][6][7] He was baptized on 9 March 1823.[8][9] He immigrated to the United States and settled in Chisago County, Minnesota. He married Sara Beata Anderson on 25 December 1853.[10] He enlisted in the Union army on 15 August 1862. He served as a private in Co. C, 7th Minnesota Infantry. He was discharged on 17 July 1865.[11] He was a member of Sherman Post no. 6, Grand Army of the Republic, Taylors Falls, Chisago County, Minnesota.[12] He passed away on 2 May 1889.[13]
