Biography

Eric was the son of hammersmith Eric Andersson at Bäckhammar in Hed, born befor the first birth records for Hed in 1683.

At the taxation 1705 Eric Andersson was listed with a wife, two sons and a daughter.[1] The next year Eric and his wife were exempt from taxes. Instead the two sons were listed as smith's helpers. Hans Ersson had married, while Eric Ersson was still single.[2]

Margareta Andersdotter from Solmyra was married to Erik Ersson from Bäck in Hed parish 16 September 1706.[3]

In the taxation record 1707 Bäck Eric Ersson with wife are listed at Bernshammar.[4] He was probably called Bäck because that's where he came from - and there was already another Eric Ersson at Bernshammar. However, later he is again noted as plain Erik Ersson.

In 1710 hammersmith Eric Ersson is registered in Solmyra with his wife.[5] In 1711 he has left the parish.[6] Erik Bäck has gone to Bäckhammaren in Ramnäs.[7]

Testament to the church was given for smith Eric Bäck at Bäckhammar 16 April 1716. No age given.[8][9]
