Karl Ragnar Linus Eriksson was born on July 7, 1916, in Östra Eneby, Norrköping, Östergötland, Sverige, to Karl Fredrik and Edla Josefina Eriksson.[1] His mother died in November 1918 and his father in March 1921.[2][3] Karl Ragnar Linus himself ended up with foster parents, coachman Karl Johan Andersson and Augusta Johanna Persdotter, at Hult, Kvillinge, Östergötland, from January 1920. His foster mother died in March 1925. After that he grew up with his foster father and his daughter Anna Elisabet, born 1885.[4] Between 1932 and 1939 he worked as an axe smith at the mill in Hult.[5] Axes have actually been produced at Hult since the stone age.[6]
Karl Ragnar Linus lived in Norrköping in 1939 and 1940, and then in Linköping. He married Birgit Lindqvist on November 25, 1950, and they settled down at Björkhamra, Malmskogen, Linköping. From 1953 her son, born 1945, grew up with them there.[7] Karl Ragnar Linus died there on August 6, 1993.[8]
