Biography
William was born on 2 Oct 1799 and baptised on 6 Oct 1799 in Barony, Lanarkshire, Scotland. He was the son of John Erskine and Agnes Marr.[1]
He married Isabella Walker McIntyre on 4 Mar 1826 in Polmont, Stirlingshire.[2]
Wiliam was living in Polmont in 1851 with his wife, three children and his mother. He was employed as an agricultural labourer.[3]
He passed away on 21 Feb 1882 in Falkirk, Stirlingshire.[4]

Parents originally attached to this profile, Erskine-1815 and Turnbull-3485 have been detached, as their son William was not the same person who married Isabella McIntyre and died in Falkirk in 1882. Baxter-4158, 11 Mar 2023.
