I also have Somerset Escotts but maybe unrelated. Goathurst is a couple of miles only from here so my interest was alerted. The town of Street altogether elsewhere but I am sure that hasn't confused you.

It's a pretty village Goathurst, and an interesting church. The whole place dominated by Haswell House so probably pretty feudal in Victorian times.
