Biography
On Jane Evan's death certificate she was born on 25 Apr 1849 at Eldersfield, Worcestershire, England to William Evans and Sarah Keel. [1] (see Sue's blog below under Sources called, "funwithfamilyhistory". Please Note: Sue has her birth as the year 1845). Jane was baptised on 28 May 1849 at Eldersfield, Worcestershire, England. [2] (See Sue's blog below under Sources called, "funwithfamilyhistory". Please Note: Sue has her baptism as the year 1859).
She married John Harding on "March 13, 1873 at Bishop Edwin D. Wooley’s home. Their wedding certificate was a folded sheet of lined paper with the Beehive stamp in the top left hand corner. Written in Bishop Wooley’s beautiful hand, it states: Salt Lake City, Utah, March 13th, 1873. This is to certify that John Harding and Jane Evans were joined in Holy Wedlock at the residence of Bishop E. D. Wooley in the 13th Bishop Ward of Salt Lake City, Utah on the 13th day of March A.D. 1873. Edwin D. Wooley, Bishop of he 14th Ward, and Elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." - see Sue's blog below under Sources called, "funwithfamilyhistory".
"...she reached the age of twenty-one when she records that she became the mother of a baby, who was given the name of Thomas.
