Birth
Isaac Eveleth, Jr. (Isaac, Joseph, Sylvester) was born 22 March 1705/6 at Gloucester, Essex county, Massachusetts to parents Isaac Eveleth, Sr. and wife Sarah (Parkman) Eveleth. [Mears, p.208 quoting V.R. Gloucester, MA., Vol.1:252. Topsfield Historical Society, 1917] [1]

Isaac's father married Abigail (Haskell) Parson in 1722 and Isaac Jr. married her daughter

Isaac was the second of that name. His older brother, Isaac was born 24 August 1704 and died 7 September 1704.

Marriage and Children
Isaac married his step-sister Elizabeth Parsons. [2] [Mears, 208 quoting V.R. Gloucester, MA., Vol.II:206, The Essex Institute, 1923] [1] Elizabeth Parsons, born 2 December 1711, Gloucester the daughter of Nathaniel and Abigail (Haskell) Parsons. [Mears, 208, quoting V.R. Gloucester, MA., Vol.1:536. Topsfield Historical Society, 1917.] [1] Elizabeth was the daughter of Abigail (Haskell) Parsons who married Isaac's father in 1722 after his mother died.
