Biography
Daniel E. Ewig was born June 10, 1874 in Irwin, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, the son of Jacob Ewig and Sarah Matilda Squibb. He married Alice Riding (1882-1948) and they had eleven known children. Daniel died March 9, 1946 in Beaver Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania and was buried at New Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
