Born and raised in southeast Louisiana. My father was James Willard Ezell. His father was Frank R. Ezell. Frank s father was Hasting Ezell. I believe Hasting s father was Henry R. Ezell who died in Washington Parish Louisiana. I have been told that Henry’s father was Lewis Ezell of North Carolina. His second wife I believe was named Delilah. Lewis died in North Carolina. I believe Lewis was a direct descendent of Thomas, Timothy, and George Ezell who were early settlers of English colonial Virginia. I am trying to verify that Lewis Ezell was in fact the father of Henry R. I believe also, but unverified, that Henry had a brother named Hasting R. who lived and died near Henry in southeast Louisiana. Did Delilah and her sons, Hasting and Henry move from North Carolina to Louisiana?
