Biography

Carlton was born in 1899. He was the son of Harman Fagin and Laura Gardner. He passed away in 1977.

(22211) Abner Carlton Fagin, son of Harman C. Fagin/Laura Gardner, born in 1899 Piatt County, near Champaign, Illinois; married Helen Adeline Burke, daughter of Lewis Wayland Burke/Mary Emily Fagin (see #535, George Walter Fagin Jr.). Helen Burke is a 4th cousin of Carlton Fagin, and a descendant of Patrick's son (5) Aaron Fagin.

They were introduced by J. Kyle Fagin, Carlton's uncle, at the 1920 Republican Convention, and were married in Chicago January 31, 1925. They are both members of the Fagin Family History Committee and live on a farm near Griggsville, Illinois.
