Thomas Fairebarne was born in about 1665 in Bramham, and he was christened there in 1665. Thomas' parents were John Faireburne and Anna (Smithe) Faireburne.[1]

Thomas was the youngest child born to John and Anna; his siblings were Maria, Elizabeth, Hanna, William, John, Thomas, William, and Robert. Thomas shared his name with his older brother who died when he was under three years old.
